Just another entry.Becuase I want core badly.This contest has quite a lot of prizes and are pretty decent too.

So here it is:

Name:Agricon
It doesn't have a name actually,it is just a machine,but a name would be nice.

Agricon are large machines which operate on solar energy.Their surfaces are actually solar panals.This will accumulate energy to be stored in their cores for night time.The energy produced will allow them to fly.(through the motor at their legs)

These creatures are like polymers,their bodies can keep joining to form a giant chain like a long centipede with many legs.(their lengths depend on the humans' decision)On top of those bodies are the soil and plants.It's basically an agricultural ground for crops to grow.

People invented this due to the lack of space in the city.As the population grows,there is a higher demand of land to build houses,buildings etc.Thus,the humans have thought of airborne farming.From then on this creation was invented.

As big as airplanes,or even bigger,these machines will land on an airport when the plants are fully grown.They will harvest them(they are programmed to do so) and send the crops to the humans to collect.(The humans will be there to collect the crops which will be sent for packaging)

Once the crops are harvested they will redo the process again.Seeds will be replanted by the humans and their in-built water tanks will be refilled for the plants.Then, they will fly to the sky.At high altitudes (about 1000-2000m high) the temperature is lower,giving and optimum temperatures for many of the crops to grow.They will fly to a certain height and park there.

Everyday,water will condense on the surface of Agricon,which it absorbs to water the plants.(and to provide fertiliser)(rainfall will also work)If there is excess water,Agricons have in-built water filters and tanks to store the excess water for further/emergency use.At higher grounds the plants will be more exposed to sunlight so they'll grow faster.Moreover, at high grounds,most(or even none)pests can't reach the plants.Therefore no pesticides are required:3Yay!!Healthier...What's more,these crops won't be afftected by floods/earthquakes!!Cool.

For plant export,sometimes they instantly transport the crops to other countires to manufacture directly at the particular country.I mean,this can save some resoruces...we don't want to manufacture in our country and then export using planes/ships,do we?This will waste time and resorces.

Notable Features:
-Powered by solar panals on its skin surface
-Airborne farming,saves land
-Pests can't reach plants at high places
-Programmed to fly to the farm airport to harvest crops
-Cooler temperatures for crops to grow better
-Grows different crops according to season
-Equipped with weather sensor to predict any cyclones or any other disaster,which can be used to alert the city.This can help Agricon detect these disasters and steer clear of the affected areas.(especially droughts??They may migrate if there is a need to)
